As I mentioned in yesterday’s post, Cardinal went to her home on Friday night, too. Shannon & Chris and their 3 children came just after supper. This was the first time the children saw Cardinal, now to be known as Lily, as just Mom & Dad came to the first visit, so it was a great treat for them!
While the adults went through the paperwork (yes, even buying a dog takes paperwork!!) the kids played with puppies. We are pleased that Cardinal-Lily is also going to be staying in Ottawa (and in fact she’ll be seeing the same vet she’s seen up to now!) so we will probably get to see her at a future Doodle Romp. It’s always great fun to see the pups again as they grow and mature.
